In addition to promoting concentration and calm, balancing poses also strengthen muscles and improve coordination.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Please respect yourself, your fellow students, your practice, and your teacher by arriving early enough to remove your shoes, stow your things, turn off your phone, sign in, say hello to friends, and get settled on your mat. You need about five minutes to do all of that. Arriving early is especially helpful to me if the class is large and I have to rearrange mats to accommodate everyone.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Any day is a great day to start or recommit to your yoga practice, so mark your calendar with the next class and just show up.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt; I'm available for private instruction, whether you'd like me to work with you one-on-one or you want to gather some friends together and share the cost.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Beginners welcome.
